REGISTRATION TOOLKIT

HOLDS

Holds may prevent registration. You will want see if you can clear any holds before registering or meeting with a counselor.

Check out our YouTube video that explains how to check holds in STAR, including how to find out who to contact to clear the hold. Common holds include Residency and Health Clearances.

CLASSES

You can register for classes in STAR for Students. Scroll to the semester for which you would like to register and click the Register - Add/Drop Classes button to see if you need to update your student record.

PAYMENT

Take steps to ensure payment or financial aid are set-up:

Paying out of pocket? Review the information regarding payment, payment plans, and deadlines.
Receiving financial aid? Be sure to file your FAFSA and check in with Financial Aid at (808) 455-0606.
Using VA Benefits? Complete a VSEI Form to certify your classes.

You can check STAR to see the list of textbooks you will need. Click here to see how to view the list.

IN-PERSON CLASSES?

Submit your health clearances! Doing so is required in order to register for in-person classes.
