GRADUATION & TRANSFER

GRADUATION

During the semester when you plan to finish your degree and/or certificate, you will apply to graduate. Go to our graduation application to file your application online.

COMMENCEMENT

Commencement participation is optional. The ceremony is held every Spring semester. Students who applied in the previous Summer and Fall semesters will be invited.

DIPLOMA ORDER

If you choose the paid option for the graduation, you will receive a diploma. Diplomas take 6-8 weeks to be delivered once the term has concluded (see below for estimated times). If you have questions about timing or diploma mailing, please contact the Records Office at (808) 455-0642.

UH TRANSFER: AUTOMATIC ADMISSION

Automatic Admission (Auto Admit) is available for select programs. You should receive this invitation during the semester in which you would finish your degree at Leeward CC. Accepting the invite will file an application for you and waive the application fee!

Response Deadline: October 31

Spring Semester

Email Sent: February 1

Response Deadline: March 31

Check with your counselor if Auto Admit applies to your program goals. The email invite will be sent on the dates indicated above. If you do not receive one and believe that you qualify, contact your counselor to inquire.

UHM TRANSFER: KAʻIEʻIE PROGRAM

The Ka‘ie‘ie Program assists with the transfer process from Leeward CC to UH Mānoa and offers several benefits. To join:

STEP 2. If you are interested in joining, schedule an appointment with the Ka'ie'ie Counselor.
